Needs work

Plays only base. I have to reload it several was times to get it to work, if at all. I am reluctant to purchase more. If it were more reliable, I would give it 5 stars. I think it could be a great app.

Sound is distorted

Worked fine before but now sound is very distorted. What a shame since it is a very engaging concept

Awesome App

Im a classical music lover who always wished they could play the piano. While this app isnt the same as being a concert pianist, its very satisfying in its own way. Great work!

Incredibly fun, latest version lags

Ive downloaded hundreds of apps and this is the first one Ive ever reviewed. As a classical music fan who cant play advanced piano, this makes me feel like Im playing the pieces. Controlling tempo and dynamics is enough to achieve a surprising degree of expressiveness. Some pieces are challenging to perfect too, adding a video game like element. My only complaint is that ever since the last update, the app fails to register taps once in a while on my iPhone 5S, which is incredibly frustrating. please fix! Without that issue this would be a five star app.

Sick app!!!

I really enjoy this app. Ive never really enjoyed games or anything of the sort on my phone but have tons of other apps. I really love this app. I would love to be able to bookmark favorite tunes. Also being able to rewind to try a part of a song again would be nice. Itd also be nice to be able to watch songs while in the game mode and toggle between modes without going back a menu. Thank you though. This app is a new favorite

Surprisingly Satisfying!

There was a moment at the beginning of the first piece when I thought, "Its just tapping?" Then a minute later, I was smiling to myself at how great an experience it was, and couldnt stop till I got to the end of the piece. It even made me want to listen to different performances to see how others interpreted it, and it helped me to connect to classical music in a new way. Really, really fun and great. A word about in-app purchases and ads. This is exactly how to do both. There are over 100 pieces currently available, and one or two from each composer, can be played for FREE. There is a short ad after each piece (not before, by the way, which is nice) , and ALL ads are removed with any ($0.99) purchase. This app is pretty much perfection. I cant wait to show it to more people.

Phenomenal

One of the best apps Ive downloaded in a long time! Its so relaxing to listen to moonlight sonata when you just want something sincere to listen to. My only annoyance though is that the game lags on occasion. But other than that, its perfect!

Awesome

What a cool tool for learning expression. Fun to show off!

Crashes a lot and you have to pay for almost everything

Yeah.

No sound on iPad Air

I enjoyed the browser version, but even with the latest update, I still get no sound out of my iPad Air. Ive tried twiddling and toggling the options to no avail. Bummer. Would rate 5 stars if the sound worked.

No sound

I love the web browser version so I wanted to get the App version... but theres no sound. The ads play sound perfectly fine but when you try to play a piece, no sound comes out.

No sound

So, I just got this app and I love it, but now theres no sound! Whats up with that? Id love it if you guys could fix this and then I could actually hear what Im playing. Im on an iPod touch 5th gen by the way. Thanks!

The ads are awful!

I dont mind ads on a free app, but these ads are awful. Every time you go back to the main menu you get an ad and every ad has video. And since you have the sound turned up to hear the app the video is really loud. My choices are buy a song or delete the app. It really feels like bait and switch to have to pay to get rid of an unpleasant experience.

The Micro-Transactions are ridiculous

The PC version of this comes with all packs unlocked, no need to pay for anything. Maybe its because cause nothing new will be coming to that platform, but packs that are available for free on PC cost money on the mobile app. Utterly ridiculous. The app itself on PC is amazing and peaceful but I cannot enjoy on mobile what I do on my PC. For this, barely 1 star.

Riddled with ads!!

Ive never used an app thats so full of ads and on top of that wants to nickel and dime you for content. Seriously, I dont think the developers realize this whole app is worth a one time $0.99 at best.

Greed

Just downloaded this to express my disgust that this was ported to phones when they took out a ton of songs from the original browser site all for some ad revenue.

Too expensive

I would pay for every song if it costed less than twelve dollars. 5 bucks and I would definitely buy the every pack option, but Im not spending any money on this app otherwise. Also, there need to be more options, like a way to stop the volume from changing based on where you tap on the screen, and an option to turn sustain always on or off. Also, add Chopins Fantaisie Impromptu and Beethovens Fur Elise.

DEFECTIVE

I bought this app along with a music pack, since then the music is off key and full of static. Completed updates and the problem still exists. I feel like Ive thrown my $$$ away!!!

Meh

I like the app - its fun, I just wish theyd add more music. The music selection has been stagnant for months. You can only play the same music so many times, ya know? Add more music!!!

Ok.

Its ok but way to expensive for being public domain songs.
